The September 2017 Veranda has so many beautiful interiors it was hard to pick just five so I stretched it to the seven best. These include three stunning rooms by Miles Redd in an updated 1901 Victorian house in New Jersey, a luxurious Park Avenue apartment rendered in pale whites and grays by Thomas Pheasant, a classic Atlanta house updated by architect Yong Park and interior designer Melanie Turner. Finally, architect D. Stanley Dixon and interior designer Carolyn Malone evoke the peacefulness of a rustic English country house in a newly built home in Atlanta. Our focus as always is on the role designer rugs play in adding glamour to these living rooms, dining rooms and bedroom.

The seven best rooms with designer rugs in the May 2017 Veranda feature the stunning blue and white compositions of Cathy Kincaid in a 1930's Spanish Colonial in Dallas, an upper-east side apartment enlivened by Nick Olsen's unexpected colors, Frank de Biasi's renewal of a 1917 shingled white colonial on Long Island's North Shore and the yellow and gold living room of Jan Showers' updated Dallas townhouse.

Summer is almost over and the August 2016 issue of Veranda delights us with six rooms that make us wish summer would last a lot longer. In these closing days of August we not only bring you nostalgia for summer, but also inspiration for designing rooms that make it easy to enjoy day-to-day living without compromising comfort or elegance. Amanda Nisbet is especially inspiring because she shows how custom designer rugs can help you bring the relaxing vibes of the sea inside the home. Mark D. Sikes and Nicky Haslam design director, Colette van den Thillart create chic and relaxing havens full of personality.
