A gray faded pattern oriental rug pulls together a brown velvet upholstered custom bed, beige coronet and walls covered in gold Japanese silk in the master bedroom of an apartment overlooking New York’s Gramercy Park designed by Bennett Leifer.

2. Gray, Blue and Brown

A  muted gray and blue antique Tabriz rug and taupe walls provide an elegant and warm backdrop for brown velvet upholstered neoclassical chairs, Empire console, Louis XVI secretary and brown and taupe sofa’s in the living room of the apartment designed by Bennett Leifer.

In the Grammercy Park dining room a pale brown and gold antique Tabriz rug creates a sophisticated setting for a custom crystal chandelier, 1950’s Lobmeyr mirror, neoclassical dining chairs with gold and red floral silk backs and red velvet seats, yellow drapes, gold-leaf wallcovering and and artwork by Simen Johan.

 In the living room of fashion designer Erin Beatty’s West Village, New York duplex designed by Lara Apponyi and Michael Woodcock, a yellow, black and white flatweave rug pulls together a yellow leather sofa, blue and red floral loveseat, green Marcel Breuer chairs and paintings by Jimmy Lee Sudduth and Willie Jinks.

5. Blue, Red, and Gray
